Why you are seeing this notice

The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ("GLBA") and related regulations require certain financial institutions to provide a clear notice describing how they collect, share, and protect nonpublic personal information ("NPI"). Depending on how CLS Money Y LLC is characterized under GLBA and related regulations, this notice may apply to some categories of information you provide when you interact with us or with partners through our website, iOS application, and referral services.

This GLBA Privacy Notice supplements our Privacy Notice and App Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, the document most specific to your interaction controls.

What we collect

We may collect NPI and related identifiers, including:

  • name, email address, phone number, and mailing address;
  • state or ZIP code of residence;
  • employment, income, and eligibility information you submit in the App or through voluntary forms;
  • commercial information such as interactions with comparison content and referral selections;
  • internet or network activity such as pages viewed, device type, and approximate location inferred from IP;
  • inferences drawn from the above to support matching, fraud prevention, and service improvement.

How we use information

We may use NPI to:

  • operate comparison, matching, and referral services;
  • communicate with you about the Service;
  • prevent fraud and abuse;
  • comply with law and enforce our agreements;
  • improve products and analytics in aggregated or pseudonymous form where permitted.

How we share information

We may share NPI with:

  • Service providers that host, secure, analyze, or support our operations, subject to contractual restrictions;
  • Partner financial institutions or marketplaces when you choose to apply or continue an application flow;
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights and security;
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required.

We do not sell NPI for money. Certain sharing may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" under state privacy laws; see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

Safeguards

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect NPI, including encryption in transit where appropriate, access controls, and vendor oversight. No system is completely secure.

Your choices under GLBA

GLBA includes limitations on sharing NPI with nonaffiliated third parties for certain marketing purposes. If you believe you have rights to opt out of certain sharing under GLBA, contact us at [email protected] with GLBA Request in the subject line.
